My first knowledge of Fred Thompson was as an actor on Law and Order. I remember watching him in the show and wondering if he was as conservative and common sense in real life as he was on TV. In May of 2007, I was looking at all the candidates and something popped up about Fred. I started ready everything about him and found out that his beliefs in real life were an exact match to mine.
I did more and more research on Fred and found the draftfredthompson.com site. I joined immediately and I visited the forum every day. I joined FredHeadsUSA and became the Area Coordinator for my county. I had never been involved in politics and knew very little about politics except that I always voted Republican. I learned so much from the other members on dft.com and have now developed a deep interest in politics.
I talked about Fred to every one I met. I went to Dallas Love Field in July to show support for Fred and I walked away from that event in total awe of Fred Thompson.
I have made some lasting friendships on dft.com and it has been wonderful to discuss issues and politics with people that believe the same things and have the same values that I do.
When Fred Thompson withdrew from the Presidential race on January 22, 2008, I was shaken to the core. I am worried about the future of country and what kind of country my grandkids will be living in. None of the other candidates comes close to Fred as either a conservative, a patriot or a leader.
So, I am now ready to put my time and effort into stopping the RINO’s, the media, and the liberals from changing the Republican Party and removing the core principles of Conservatism.
God Bless Fred, his family and our country.
